Hello dear sellers, the knife arrived in 26 days to the designated country., but with a bad defect. What's up? For such a price i would buy even better. and put for delivery 1 point.

Pretty decent knife and as per listing, which is a relief as it was not cheap as carbon steel knives go. Sharpness out of box is probably 8.5/10...cuts paper and ripe tomato/ bell peppers etc. without tearing, so good enough for daily use...but not LAZER sharp...but a couple of minutes of stropping with whetstone is enough to get it to lazer sharpness. Will have to see edge retention going forward. Only other drawback is that the black oxide (kurouchi type)coating releasing into hand and food for first few uses. Had to repeatedly wash it get it to a stable non-staining level. Hope it doesn't fade over time . Handle is surprising good. the wood treatment (i think resin impregnated?) makes it slightly water resistant, though obviously I wouldn't recommend prolonged exposure to water (also the blade is carbon steel, so that's a bad idea anyway).

Not as sharp as hoped and loses black Color despite more maligen wash with the Sponge. But otherwise pretty well. Like the Photo of the Workmanship good. It must now after grinding and then is it intended Super.
